Treasury of the National Jewels
The Treasury of the National Jewels is the world’s largest collection of jewels. Other stellar attractions here are the historic Kuh-e-Noor diamond, its sister diamond Darya-e-Noor diamond (world’s largest uncut ruby), a golden globe (made from 34 kilograms of gold and 51366 precious stones) and the Peacock Throne.
Golestan Palace (Rose Garden Palace)
Golestan Palace is the oldest historic monument in Tehran. It consists of 17 palaces, gardens, museums, grand halls and a superb collection of 300 year old Iranian and European. Its centrepiece is a line-up of thirty showcases depicting Irani history and some beautiful halls like the Mirror Hall, Diamond Hall, Marble Throne and the Pond House.
Milad Tower
Milad Tower is the world’s sixth-tallest tower and the 17th-tallest freestanding structure in the world. It stands at 435 metres and contains a rotating hotel (at 390 metres), a world trade centre and an IT park. This iconic tower is a part of a complex called International Trade and Convention Centre of Tehran. Also of note here are seven conference rooms, an exhibition space, a lobby, a training room, a radio and television studio and reception services.
